Today I took a little "end of the month" bike ride - so I could get in a few more miles for April and also took a few photos to share with you this evening!
So first I saw this "Sanderling" and unfortunately the photo (s) did not come out well. This is about the best as I decided any photo is better than none!
I climbed up on a table and got this photo of the Shoreline going South with The Breeding Pond, which for a change is full!
And these Cactus are growing on the far side of the Stream and are blooming as well!
With it being overcast there was not much activity, so I took some flower photos - after the Cactus why not?!
This is three Firewheels that I saw growing. They looked pretty vibrant so I wanted to get a photo,
And a Primrose that I found as well. They seem to be going away and I don't see as many as a month ago,
And I was riding around and saw this Sunflower - actually a lot of them! I liked this one, the center is pretty interesting!
And now, a "Big" #aliveandthriving surprise! When we had the 6 hour freeze in February I thought my Pineapple plant was done! I cut off most of the dead parts and it kept dying some more! Well the other day I mentioned to a friend I was going to toss it and re-use the pot. I looked today and - "Wow"! It's going to make it after all!
It has two little sprouts coming off of the dying old plant!
