Hey, it's been a while I joined this challenge. I keep forgetting but let's try again. Of course, since I never cared about Christmas, I don't really know normal Christmas songs, I would always stay as far away as I can from them !lolz
But I do enjoy metal versions of some of the classics. I found lots of metal covers over the years and one of my favorites is that Korn death metal rendition of "Jingle Bells". Probably not in the vibe of this contest, but I just really like it. Even if you can somewhat recognize the Korn sound, it's pretty far from their usual stuff, and of course very different from what most people think a Christmas song should be. I can totally recognize myself in some of the comments on youtube: while everybody is getting ready (and kind of crazy) for Christmas like "normal people", I wouldn't care at all and I'd be listening to this stuff. I know I scared off quite a few people with this kind of music! So again, sorry if that's not really in the usual Christmas spirit, but for me, it's the perfect music for the season!

        What an interesting choice for the Christmas season.
        It's true that not everyone connects with the traditional spirit of these dates, and it's great that you find in Korn music a way to enjoy it in your own way.
        Metal versions of classic songs have their own charm and definitely offer a different perspective.
        In the end, the most important thing is to enjoy music that makes you feel good, regardless of whether it fits in with the conventional or not.
        Keep enjoying your unique style of celebrating.
