World Bazaar Festival, Food, and Toy Haul!

in We Are Alive Tribe3 days ago (edited)

After the long season hiatus, I am ready to post again.

Prior to Christmas, the usual errand of driving my mother to her meeting of course involves another toy run, even if there is no budget! Managed to snag these two figures at a buy now, pay later deal (to be paid 3 months later) at 0% interest for 6 months. So it was essentially an installment plan for 9 months with no interest. Who could say no?

Also managed to pass by this mall's iconic "tourist spot" Bayo Tayo Mary Grace. 😅

After accomplishing the traditional toy run came the string of food trips. No food tripping would be complete without the requisite coffee, this time being a 32-oz. Spanish Latte from Dunkin.' And why not grab a donut in the process?

Passed by the World Bazaar Festival to satiate my curiosity on what it's all about.

Sadly, I got a peek at some of the stalls from the entrance, and they didn't entice me at all. Add to that the entrance fee, which, though not particularly hefty, doesn't seem warranted for the non-interesting things to see inside (uninteresting for me, at least; when my mother got wind of the event, she wanted to come but she didn't have time).

However, I still needed to spend something so that I can have change for the parking fee, which was waived by the guard in lieu of me getting change. So I took a look at the restaurant outside the bazaar entrance, and I'm glad I did.

They have this boneless chicken meal that was scrumptious, and I enjoyed every bite.

Aaaand as if I wasn't satisfied yet, I looked for some street food at the area where my mother was conducting her meeting, but there was none. Then I saw the ultra-cheap burger joint across the highway and got me some hotdog and buy-one-take-one cheeseburger. Mr. Stomach was very full!

Going home was the usual traffic, though it was manageable, thankfully.

Helping my mom regularly and having some alone time with food and toys always make me glad to be alive!

What a great deal you took advantage of.
It's hard to resist those opportunities, especially when it comes to Christmas gifts.
Those interest free payment plans are a great relief for the pocketbook.
