Regardless of whether or not you've seen it, it is very common. Pigs will usually revert back to having black fur within only a few generations, and they reproduce extremely quickly for being such large mammals, so that happens fast. πππβ¨π€

I would say to avoid anything put out by well-known universities. There are a goodly number of books on the subject for various regions, though my library is gone, so I can't easily recommend specific sources at the moment unless I go hunt them down, which I do not feel like doing now. πππβ¨π€
