The most interesting opportunities show up when you’re not even looking for them sometimes and that's exactly what happened to me today.
While exploring hive, I came across @oasiskp2 post and go through it. And while doing so, I stumbled upon something I honestly didn’t know existed and that is BBHO Power Up and i get to know that it usually taken place every 20th of the month. It caught me by surprise because I have been around for a while, yet this completely flew under my radar. It made me realize that no matter how long you’ve been in a space, there is always something new to discover.
And what made it even more exciting for me was knowing that @bradleyarrow is the brain behind the BBHO project. I’ve been quietly following his curation trail for some time now, and I’ve always admired the consistency and intent behind his activities. So, seeing his involvement instantly gave the project more credibility in my eyes. It’s one thing to join a project, but it’s another thing entirely when you know and believe in the person driving it.
Without overthinking it, I quickly checked my wallet and saw that I had 13 BBHO liquid token sitting there. I thought that small amount was enough to spark action. I decided to go further by purchasing an additional of 65 BBHO tokens, bringing my total to 78 BBHO liquid tokens ready for power-up. There’s something satisfying about making a quick but intentional decision like that and it feels like taking control of your growth.
What truly makes this project appealing to me the bigger picture but not just only the rewards attached to powering. It’s about building. It’s about strengthening my second-layer wallet on Hive. It’s about positioning myself for long-term benefits rather than short-term gains.
Before now, I already had 346 BBHO in staked, so adding this new power-up felt like leveling up in a real way. After powering up the full 78 BBHO tokens, my total stake now stands at 424.836 BBHO. Seeing that number grow gave me a sense of progress that goes just beyond figures but it reflects commitment.
Even though, today wasn’t planned, but it turned out to be a meaningful step forward. And honestly, those are the moments that often matter the most.
