I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 6 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
I've been learning a whole bunch about investing lately, as I keep diving deeper and deeper into how to leverage and grow assets in the most efficient and effective way. In this process I'm decoding and finally coming to understand more fully what investment acronyms like APR, APY, and ROI actually mean, and how they relate to each other. I've certainly been using my calculor a lot, as I hash numbers to see the costs, benefits, and time frames involved with my assorted investments. Some of the information that I discover is very surprising, sometimes even shocking.
Because I'm always checking in on how my numerous investments are doing, and comparing them to each other in terms of the numbers, I'm finding myself reassessing various investment choices a lot, and at times, adjusting or even reallocating assets based on new clarity. One of the truly shocking bits of data that I learned today is concerning BXT, which is one of my top favorite income tokens. Presently I have 915.862 staked BXT, which at the present price would cost 1,669.44087357184 SWAP.HIVE, and I presently receive somewhere around 19.663 HIVE monthly for that staked BTX. After running the numbers a short time ago, my jaw dropped when I saw that if I or anyone were to buy that quantity of BXT and stake it, it would take 7 years to make the investment back! What the....?!? Based on that information, it would cost the same, and be ridiculously quicker, if that SWAP.HIVE were simply converted to HIVE and powered up.
I've also been investigating more thoroughly just how profitable the AI-bot trading on Hive.Trading, that I've been strongly considering, would be. What I found was that the profit margin is not actually high enough to warrant me withdrawing my HBD from savings to add to the trading fund, though it is still a useful way of growing assets over time, and as such I'll continue to utilize it, but just with the HIVE-HBD assets already invested.
Another interesting thing that I dicovered was that adding SPS to the PKM:SPS diesel/liquidity pool is a far more effective way of growing my SPS holding (along with DEC too) than leaving it staked on Splinterlands.com. Keeping SPS staked in Splinterlands has a present 10.92% APR, while assets in the PKM:SPS pool have a 30.52% APR, so yeah, that one's a no-brainer. As such, while I am leaving my SPS staked in Splinterlands for the moment, all claimed interest is being sent to Hive Engine to add to the pool.
Some investors keep significant investment imformation to themselves when they learn about it, so as to better take advantage of certain opportunities for their benefit. There's nothing inherently wrong with this, but for me, when I discover or learn something very helpful or useful in anything, including asset leveraging and investing, I want to share it with others, because I love and care about this community, and I want to us all to #ThriveOnHive, and everywhere else that we may be.
Yesterday, Saturday, I left the Flow House, once I had finished up my Hive tasks, a little before 2:30PM, giving my time and attention first to some photography for these posts. When I had a satisfying batch, I went to sunbathe on the trampoline in the Peanut Lawn for a short while, while the sun was out. After sunning, I weeded and did a little plant-care in my nursery for a bit, after which I got my machete and collected a wheelbarrow full of assorted edible foliage for cow-milking food, partly in the rain. When I had cow food done, I stopped by the Landing to collect my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee from the Landing fridge, making my way back to the Flow House from there, to ease into my evening Hive tasks, and catching up on my notifications. For the first time since Monday, I was finally able to get fully caught up them by just before 11:15PM, and after some asset management, and a quick check on my Blurt notifications, I went to bed too late again, around 12:45AM. I woke up a little before 6:30AM, still feeling that I needed more sleep, doing more asset management, starting on this post, getting out of bed to go make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, and finally returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just before 1:30PM, so a great time to end this post, so that I may get to my few other important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to focus first on photography, and then community/land work. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until my Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update tomorrow morning, and the next iteration of this post tomorrow afternoon! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
2025 Life Goals
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
All photos were taken with my Motorola G Play 2024 Android Phone.
Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
