I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 6 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
I've been leveraging and growing assets since I first arrived on the Blockchain 3.5+ years ago, bootstapping one income stream after another, as I laid the initial foundation for what I've come to call my Hive Multi-Stream Passive-Income Machine. While this system of passive income flow is very important, and has come to be exceedingly useful for me, generating assets and income on Hive encompasses both passive and active components, across several domains. Today I felt inspired to talk a little more about the various active and passive parts of income generation on Hive, and my experiences with them.
Let me start with the five parts of my Hive Multi-Stream Passive-Income Machine as they presently exist first, then I'll mention the five other important active parts of the whole Hive income picture. A the moment, my passive-income machine includes 1.) Hive Power and HBD in Savings, 2.) Layer-1 and Layer-2 Delegations, 3.) Income Tokens, 4.) Diesel/Liquidity Pools, and the most recently added, 5.) AI-bot trading. My investment spread across these components is still a bit patchy, and not as even as I'd like, so I'm working to level things out over time, as I progress in my investment journey.
Each one of the five above-mentioned components, once put into place, generates an array of useful and valuable assets on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis, which I can then use to spur further asset leveraging, investing, and growth. Added to this, there are another five important active aspects to income generation as well, such as 1.) Publishing Content (blog posts, videos, etc), 2.) Engagement (commenting and replying on other Hivers' posts, comments, and replies), 3.) Playing Games (like Rising Star, The Pepe Game, Splinterlands, etc), 4.) Token Claims (such as on HoloZing.com, Splinterland.com, etc), and 5.) Contest Participation (like photo, writing, or engagement contests). There are a few investment opportunies, like leasing, that I've barely explored yet (other than a small bit with DLease before it disappeared), but which I would like to try out at some point as well.
Many newcomers are only aware of, and work on, a paultry few of the these ten active and passive means of generating assets and income, which is a big reason that I like to flesh it out more fully in my posts, and to go over the details of the various components, so that my fellow Hivers may implement them for their own and their communities' benefit. Anything useful and important that I learn, I share it immediately with the community, because I intend for us all to #ThriveOnHive.
These five active and five passive income streams are all notable focuses for my time, attention, energy, and resources, which is why I say that what I'm building and growing on Hive is my personal more-than-full-time business. It's definitely a big investment, and in many ways, but my passion and excitement keep growing daily because my efforts are indeed paying off more and more, and also more quickly, all the time. For anyone who has questions, or wants to learn about any of these active and passive domains of income generation, I'm always happy to help, so let me know! Perhaps you even know about something that I don't yet, and since I'm always seeking new ways to invest and leverage assets, I'd love to hear about it!
Yesterday, Wednesday, after finishing up my Hive tasks, I prepared for my session at 1:30PM. We wrapped the session up just a little after 5:30PM, after which I stopped by the Landing to collect my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee from the fridge, and then I returned immediately to the Flow House to gently dive into my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. I had a gagglefuck of them again, so I wasn't able to get through them all before I had to stop a bit after 11PM, to do some asset management and pool analysis, before finally going to bed around 11:45PM. I woke up just before 7AM, having slept pretty well, doing more asset management, starting on this post, getting out of bed about 7:30AM to go make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, then returning to the Flow House to write this post. I paused that to battle a technical issue on my computer, and to attend the Thursday NVC meeting for an hour, after which headed back to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just before 2PM, so a really good time to end this post, so that I may get to my few other important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House shortly, to focus first on photography for these posts, and then community/land work. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until tomorrow's iteration of this post! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
2025 Life Goals
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
All photos were taken with my Motorola G Play 2024 Android Phone.
Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
