One thing that anyone who has been in crypto for a while understands well is that Bitcoin/BTC is and always has been a good investment. Yes, its fiat value oscillates quite widely, both up and down, but as we've all seem, it always rebounds to new all time highs, like today, were it is over $111,000. So even if we're not really into Bitcoin, like I myself am not, it is still a very logical investment, so having more of it is never a bad thing. Other, better, crypto will subplant BTC at some point, but that time is not yet.
While there are all sorts of ways outside of Hive to earn Bitcoin, what interests me most, being the passionate die-hard Hiver that I am, are the various ways that it can be earned and grown here on Hive. Although I haven't explored them all yet, I know a few fellow Hivers who do have positive experiences with some of those that I haven't had the opportunity to try out, like One Bitcoin Club, and some of the SWAP.BTC diesel/liquidity pools.
There are actually many different means of earning and growing BTC on Hive, as SWAP.BTC, and today I wanted to go over those of which I'm presently aware. Firstly, I'll mention One Bitcoin Club, which is a newer Hive community, which also has its own outpost frontend. While there is a bit of setup to get it working (something I have not done yet), once that is completed correctly, it is possible to earn both the usual HP/HBD, as well as SWAP.BTC, which is deposited directly into your wallet via V4V.App, by publishing posts in their community, or via their frontend. I look forward to getting this set up as soon as I'm able, because I've been hearing very good things about it indeed.
For more passive ways to earn BTC, I'll mention Bradley's community token, BBHO, and the Splinterlands Battle Token, SBT. Starting at 20,000 staked BBHO (I'm not quite there yet, but I'm getting closer), SWAP.BTC is paid out once per week, on Saturdays. For SBT, starting at 100,000 staked SBT, SWAP.BTC (along with SWAP.ETH and SWAP.DOGE, as well as a few other Hive layer-2 tokens), is paid out once per month, on the 10th. I have over 1 million staked SBT, and I've received two or three payment of BTC up until this now, and while it's not much, it adds up over time, especially if added to certain diesel/liquidity pools.
On the subject of diesel/liquidity pools, they're the third main method of growing BTC on Hive, via daily liquidity rewards and/or pool fees. Mind you, the liquidity required to trigger the payouts (in rewards and/or fees) of SWAP.BTC in some of these pools seems to be quite high, as even with pretty good liquidity, I haven't received any SWAP.BTC from them yet. This is a list of all liquidity pools in which SWAP.BTC can be earned by providing sufficient liquidity (I'm still figuring out the payout thresholds for several):

Of these, I have experience with CENT:SWAP.BTC, ATX:SWAP.HIVE, SWAP.HIVE:PIMP, CCD:ATX, ATX:BEER, and SWAP.BTC:POB (when it still had daily rewards). For me the best was SWAP.BTC:POB, because I received SWAP.BTC in daily reward payouts (this pool no longer offers daily liquidity rewards, sadly), as well as from pool fees, which allowed me to increase my holding of SWAP.BTC quite notably. When the liquidity rewards for that pool ended, I reallocated my SWAP.BTC to the CENT:SWAP.BTC pool, though I've still never reached the SWAP.BTC payout threshold for it yet, but I am receiving some pool fees, so it is growing, just slowly. I intend to add and grow liquidity substantially in many of these pools, as my resources allow. If any of you reading this have any experience with the pools that I've listed here, or if you know about other ways to earn and grow BTC on Hive, let me know, as I'd love to hear about it!
Yesterday, Wednesday, after I finished up my Hive tasks, I prepared for a session that was scheduled for 1:30PM. The session ended just before 5:30PM, after which I stopped by the Landing to collect my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee from the fridge, and then I returned to the Flow House to begin my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. I had quite a lot of them again, and I wasn't able to get through them all before I had to stop around 11PM, to do some asset management, and then to go to bed around 12AM. I woke up a little after 6AM, still feeling that I needed more sleep, doing more asset management, starting on this post, getting out of bed about 7AM to go make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, and finally returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just after 1PM, so a wonderful time to end this post, so that I may get to my few other important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House a bit later in the afternoon, to focus first on photography, and then community/land work. 2025 Life Goals
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
