I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 6 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
Up until now I've always shared every bit of helpful and useful information about Hive (and beyond) that I've learned over time in my posts, but there's something that I haven't shared yet, because well, it's been my little secret that I've been enjoying for a few weeks now. Well, that changes today, both so that y'all may gain benefit from it, and to spotlight a wonderful, mutually-beneficial new project, @vote-com and it's SECRET token.
I don't even remember how I discovered @vote-com's daily stories, but I'm so glad that I did. The individual who runs the project writes various types of interesting stories most days, the last batch created from an idea that @gratefuleveryday suggested, and distributes SECRET tokens to all who comment on the posts. The SECRET token has a very stable, and quite high value because the project leader also puts progressively higher buy walls for the token on the market. What makes it even cooler is that s/he also has no problem with people selling the token, and actually encourages it, which I and several other people have been doing for weeks now. The extra SWAP.HIVE has definitely come in handy!
Although I don't yet fully understand the economic dynamics of it, this project is mutually beneficial for the individual who runs the project, and for all those who participate in it, which perfectly exemplifies my priciple of Maximum Mutual Benefit, where by giving, we receive. I've been reading the different, engaging, and well-written stories, and participating consistently, since I found out about it, and it's such gem that I wanted to share it with y'all today. I highly suggest that you follow and add @vote-com to your favorites, and read and engage on the daily story posts. It's such a good thing!
This project has endeared itself to me so much because it is so inline with my own intention to create dynamics and systems that are good for everyone. That's what Hive is at its core, where we all benefit from helping and supporting our fellow Hivers. I understand clearly that the success of any of us is success for all of us, visa-versa, and for the whole Blockchain. This is why I go to great efforts to assist, help, and support newcomers (and old-timers too), because I want them, and our beloved Blockchain, to thrive. This goes even beyond the Hive Blockchain, into other blockchain ecosystems as well, like Blurt.
Last night I helped my friend, @jmis101, create an account on Blurt. In the end, because she was having issues in doing so herself, I found it necessary to do it for her. Unfortunately the second free way that I knew to create a Blurt account was not functioning correctly, and she had problems with the first free method, so I just decided to pay 100 BLURT to create her account. I also sent her another 100 BLURT for transaction fees. Once I had the keys, I sent them to her via the encrypted account-to-account messenging on PeakD, and then I deleted my copy of them. Yes, this was an expense to me, and I used BLURT that I needed, but I was determined to get @jmis101 her account, because I wanted to help her get into something that could benefit her, and as she grows there, Blurt as well. Now I'll support her across two sibling blockchains, as I believe in her, as well as in both Hive and Blurt. That feels good to me, regardless of the cost. We're all here to help and support each other, and in helping to lift others, we ourselves are lifted in the process, even across blockchains.
Yesterday, Monday, I left the Flow House, after finishing my Hive tasks, just about 2PM, and due to time constraints, I went to help Ano, and Bryan and Alex before they had to leave, to unfold a 50'x24' tarp over the new ridgepole at Woodstock, since the old one had finally disintegrated. It was not easy, and it took about an hour and a half, with me continuing to assist Ano after Bryan and Alex left. Once that was in a good place, I removed two aluminum T posts from the ground for Ano, who was having difficulty doing so himself. What can I say, I know how to focus my energy. When I was done with that, I made my way to the other side of the property to take a shower, then a quick asset-management break up at the Flow House, before going to help Braja at her place with a few small tasks, and then onto a short photography session for my posts. Once I had some good shots, I headed to the Landing to make myself some food (spiced-and-seasoned mini-beef patties, with pepprjack cheese, and horseradish mustard), and with that and my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee in hand, I returned to the Flow House to get into my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. I was able to get through them all by a little after 10:30PM, and after helping @jmis101 create her Blurt account, and some asset management, I went to bed just after 12AM. I woke up just after 6AM, still feeling that I needed more sleep, doing more asset management, starting on this post, getting out of bed to go make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, dropping off a quart jar of it to Soozi, and then heading back to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just before 12:30PM, so a magnificent time to end this post, so that I may get to my other few important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House a bit later in the afternoon, to focus first on more photography for these posts, and then community/land work. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until tomorrow's iteration of these posts! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
2025 Life Goals
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
All photos were taken with my Motorola G Play 2024 Android Phone.
Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
