I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 6 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
Success on Hive is composed of several diverse aspects, many of which I've discussed in these posts often, but in reality they all fall within the three counter-balancing corners of a triad/triangle. The first corner is what I would call the active component, and it represents what we're actively doing on Hive over time. The second corner is what could be termed the passive component, or the simple consistency of the mathematics of compounding interest, exponential growth, and time. The third corner is the unpredictability of present circumstances, available resources, and opportunities, so it could be called the unknown component of our Hive Success Triad.
Each of these three corners is important in terms of our overall success on Hive, and one stronger corner can help make up, or compensate for, weaker corners, since they counter-balance each other. An example of such counter balances could be someone who perhaps builds and grows his or her connections and relationships, shares meaningful and valuable content, or learns how to leverage and invest assets, counter-balancing a weak initial asset base. Another might be someone who invests a large amount of external assets into the Hive Ecosystem balancing weaker finances or little activity on the Blockchain.
The art and science of it all is learning to dance with and between these active, passive, and unknown corners, by learning how everything works, giving our all and doing our best, and adapting and flowing with present circumstances by taking advantage of existing opportunities, and there are always opportunities. If we really want to succeed on Hive, we will, no matter from where we're starting, or what we have. Where there's a will, there is indeed a way, and Hive offers so many different possible ways.
We can learn to engage each of these three components, and weave between them, in such a way that a greater synergy is created, which then strengthens all three corners. Hive is a beautifully complex game that we can all master, if we truly want to do so that is.
So many people have come to Hive and then left, and they likely have innumerable reasons and excuses for why they didn't succeed here. It's easy for me to see why most of them failed, and it's sad, because I know that if they took the time to truly learn Hive well, did their best, and took advantage of opportunities available to them (this is why learning the Ecosystem well is so important), that their result would have very likely been far different. I just keep exploring, learning, building, and helping as many of my fellow Hivers to ground and #ThriveOnHive as I'm able.
Yesterday, Tuesday, I left the Flow House, once I had finished up my Hive tasks, just a little after 2PM. Since it was raining a bit, I focused on cleaning in and around the sink in the Landing first, which was direly needed. When I had the sink in a better state, I went to Tutu's collect some food supplies for the Landing, and to do the dry-goods order. After I had that done, I took a quick asset management break up at the Flow House, and then I went to help Ano tie supporting strings on the sides of the new tarp over Woodstock. I hadn't done the knots in a while, so I was quite rusty, but thankfully it came back to me pretty quickly. I took another asset-management break up at the Flow House, and then I finally focused on some photography for my posts, before heading to work on the tarp for a short while more. When that was at a good place, I went to the Landing to make myself some food (spiced-and-seasoned mini beef patties, pepperjack cheese, and mixed mustards), and with that and my jar of superfood fire coffee in hand, I headed back to the Flow House, to gently dive into my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. Since I had gotten through a chunk of notifications in the morning again, I was able to finish them by just after 9:15PM, after which I did more asset management, checked in on X and Blurt, then I went to bed a little before 12AM. I woke up a little after 7AM, still feeling that I needed some more sleep, doing more asset management, starting on this post, getting out of bed around 7AM to go make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, and then finally returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just before 1:45PM, so a very good time to end this post, so that I may get to my few other important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to focus first on some photography for my posts, straining and blending kefir (kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao), and then community/land work. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until tomorrow's incarnation of these posts! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
2025 Life Goals
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
All photos were taken with my Motorola G Play 2024 Android Phone.
Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
