I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 6 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
I've been talking for ages now about the need for multi-/cross-blockchain interconnection, integration, and interoperability, both as a way to facilitate easy, quick, efficient, and effective asset transfers between blockchains, and to strengthen the economy of each individual blockchain, since the value of any blockchain's assets is in large part determined by how easily they can be exchanged for other assets. There is so much exciting development happening now on many blockchains, Hive included, that is moving this dream closer and closer to reality. Like synapses in a giant multi-blockchain brain, the blockchain neurons are reaching out to each other.
One of the greatest breakthroughs in this regard, VSC (Virtual Smart Contract), is being built right under our feet here on Hive, and it promises to be world and paradigm-shifting for the whole cryptoverse by making seamless cross-chain, asset transfers, swaps, and diesel/liquidity pools a practical reality. This incredible functionality is being built at the decentralized protocol level, with no intermediates or bridges, which makes it far more secure and reliable than traditional DEX (Decentralized Exchange) infrastructue, with supported blockchains each having their own sandboxed vault.
Assets in VSC will be handled in native form, with no synthetic, asset-pegged, wrapped, or bridge tokens involved, thus cutting out all intermediaries. This is hugely different, and a vast advancement, to how it is done on Hive Engine, where off-chain assets require arbitrage accounts and SWAP representatives on the Hive-Engine side chain, which makes the process inherently more insecure and unreliable. Hive Engine will still have a useful purpose, but with VSC layer 2 on Hive is going to a whole new level of functionality.
The myriad of new potential investment and asset-leveraging opportunities that VSC will make possible is pretty mind-boggling, and I'd be lying if I said that I wasn't a bit concerned about the strong possibility of being overwhelmed by them all. I'll manage, of course...lol! The Hive Ecosystem already offers nearly innumerable ways to invest, leverage, and grow assess, and with VSC coming into the mix, those investment possibilities are about to explode and expand massively.
The InLeo team is doing incredible things with LeoDex as well, and they're working hard to make it one of the best cross-chain DEXes around. There are several interesting investment opportunities available there also, that I hope to explore soon. LeoDex and VSC are the spearheads for a rapidly-approaching, seamlessly-interoperable, multi-blockchain future, with Hive as the epicenter. Get ready, y'all!
Yesterday, Thursday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my Hive tasks, a little after 2PM, giving my attention first to some photography for my posts. Once I had a nice batch, I went to sunbathe on the trampoline in the Peanut Lawn for a short bit, while the sun as shinning bright. After sunning, I went to go help Ano to clean and reorganize Woodstock, after erecting a new tarp over it, to make a usable covered parking space in the front. That took a while, after which I transported a wheelbarrow full of pallet spines and ground cloth from Woodstock to the Landing (the ground cloth for my nursery) and Manta Ray (to store the pallet spines). After that final delivery, I cleaned up in the Landing, collected my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee from the fridge, and then I made my way back to the Flow House, to hop into my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. I got everything done by just before 9:45PM, and after some asset management, and checking on on Blurt and X, I went to bed around 11:30PM. I woke up around 7:30AM, having slept quite well, doing more asset management, getting out of bed around 8AM to go make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, before returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just after 1:45PM, so a fantastic time to end this post, so that I may get to my few other important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to focus on photography for my posts first, and then community/land work. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until tomorrow's iteration of these posts! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
2025 Life Goals
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
All photos were taken with my Motorola G Play 2024 Android Phone.
Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
