I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 6 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
It's so curious, being as all-in for the long haul as I am on Hive, to see so few people actually diving into and taking advantages of the incredible opportunities that Hive offers. It honestly boggles my brain. I was hooked on Hive just about as soon as I arrived on the Blockchain and began exploring. This passion for Hive is not because I don't know anything else, as I'm active in multiple blockchain ecosystems, all of which I appreciate. While each of them has some truly amazing aspects about them, honestly nothing can really compare to Hive for me, no matter what I've found in my intrepid blockchain explorations.
There are so many diverse elements, both big and small, and across many areas, that cinch the deal for me, and make me call Hive 'home'. If Hive succeeds, we all succeed, as it's community-designed to be mutually beneficial for all of us, and in very real, practical ways. The ability for people to use their Hive assets in their daily lives is spreading quickly, especially in certain countries, and all from community-driven efforts. This can be done anywhere.
With LeoDex, and especially VSC, being rolled out now, the usefulness of Hive and its assets will strongly increase, as they will easily be exchangeable for a dazzling array of off-chain crypto assets, and visa-versa for off-chain assets coming into the Hive Ecosystem. No matter how you hash it, Hive is the place to be!
Fully integrated self-custodial wallets in a trustless framework, the countless ways to invest/leverage/grow assets and generate income, the exceptional community-driven technology, and the badass community of Hivers that runs it all, are just a few of the salient aspects about Hive that make it stand out from other blockchain ecosystems and frameworks. And the coolest thing is that work on various parts of Hive is ongoing, with many very-exciting developments underway, so the best is yet to come I'd say!
Every now and again I get asked what I would do if I were to receive a large sum of money. The first thing out of my mouth is always that I'd invest most of it into the Hive Ecosystem, in an equal spread across layer-1 and layer-2 investment domains, so Hive Power, HBD in Savings, income tokens, diesel/liquidity pools, layer-1 and layer-2 delegations, among others. That's how sure I am about Hive, its Ecosystem, and its assets.
Yesterday, Sunday, I left the Flow House, once I had finished up my Hive tasks, quite late (no rushing on Sunday...lol), a little before 2:45PM, putting my attention first on some photography for these posts, and some sunbathing on the trampoline in the Peanut Lawn. Once I was well sunned, I strained and blended kefir (kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao) in the Landing, and then I collected my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee from the fridge, and I made my way back to the Flow House (yep, I didn't do too much yesterday) to ease my way into my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on notifications. I was able to get everything done by a little before 9PM, and after some asset managememt (mostly pools), checking in on Blurt, and giving my X feed long scan, I went to bed just after 11PM. I woke up around 7:30AM, having slept fairly well, doing more asset management, getting out of bed to go make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing around 8AM, then returning to the Flow House to write and publish My 159th Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update: 10,000 HP This Week, and HP Leasing Added to Passive Income!, and finally to begin writing this post. It's now just after 1:15PM, so quite a lovely time to end this post, so that I may get to my few other important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House a bit later in the afternoon, to focus first on photography for my posts, then community/land work. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until tomorrow's iteration of these posts! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
2025 Life Goals
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
All photos were taken with my Motorola G Play 2024 Android Phone.
Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
