I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 6 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
Yesterday afternoon I saw a very interesting X post/post published by the official VSC (Virtual Smart Chain) account, where if you connected your EVM wallet (I used Atomic Wallet) to VSC via Altera, and shared a screenshot of your Altera dashboard with your connected EVM wallet, along with your ETH address in a commment, you would be sent some HIVE. This morning I saw a reply to my comment saying that they had sent me the HIVE, but at first I thought that it didn't work, because I was looking in Atomic Wallet. Once I checked the Altera instance where I had Atomic Wallet connected, lo and behold, there it was, 1 HIVE!
Interestingly, I can't see this HIVE via Altera if I connect to it using my Hive account, only when I have the EVM wallet connected, which does make sense, since it's technically mapped to an EVM wallet. I don't think that you can connect two different wallets at the same time (at least not in the same instance). I tried to send that HIVE to my Hive account via Altera/VSC, which technically I am able to do, but I couldn't do it this morning because I still need to deposit some HBD so that I have sufficient Resource Credits for transactions, which I'll do as it becomes available.
Regardless of whether or not I have enough Resource Credits to do anything yet, this technological feat is freaking incredible, being able to receive and hold native HIVE on an EVM-ETH wallet. This is just the beginning, of course, with support for innumerable other crypto assets (BTC is already supported as well) to be added soon. Diesel/Liquidity pools for all these assorted off-chain crypto assets, paired with HBD, will be coming soon as well, and you can sure bet that I'll be diving into them!
I've been talking about VSC quite a lot lately in these posts, and for good reason, because not only will it be as, or even more, significant than the coming of Hive Engine to Hive, but it promises to entirely revolutionize how crypto transactions are done, so to say that I'm excited is an understatement indeed.
Complete interoperability between any assets, any blockchains, and any wallets, is the idea, that's what VSC means, and it's being developed and built as we speak. Just this fact alone will draw a huge number of people to VSC, and by extension, to Hive. One wallet to rule them all!
Yesterday, Friday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my Hive tasks, just a little before 2PM, putting my attention on some photography for my posts first, then some sunbathing on the trampoline in the Peanut Lawn. Once I felt well sunned, I strained and blended kefir in the Landing, and after a short asset-management break up at the Flow House, I went to salvage the last wheelbarrow full of plants from my old nursery, transported them across the property, and unloaded and processed them in my new nursery behind the Landing. When I finally had that mostly done, I collected two plants of Hawaiian woodrose from my nursery, walked them across the property again, then I planted them in the fenced garden next to Kana's place, right next to the fence, so that they are able to climb (they're vines). When I had that done, and upon arriving at the other side of the property again, I was enlisted to help Avi (a fellow presently staying here) to address a water leak over the washing machine, and perilously close to the solar electrical system. We were thankfully able to stop it, until it could be repaired the next day. After that adventure, I stopped by the Landing to make myself some food (spiced-and-seasoned ground beef, eggs, onions, tomatoes, longevity spinach leaves, olive oil, and sea salt), and with that and my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee in hand, I headed back to the Flow House, to gently begin my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. I had a lot of notifications last night, and as such, I wasn't able to get through them all before I had to stop a bit after 11:30PM, to do some asset management, and a scan of my X feed, before going to bed, way too late again, around 12:45AM. I woke up a bit before 8AM, having thankfully slept well, doing more asset management, going to make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, then returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just a after 12:15PM, so it's a great time to wrap this up, so that I may get to my few other important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to focus first on photography for my posts, then community/land work. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until the next incarnation of this post tomorrow! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
2025 Life Goals
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
All photos were taken with my Motorola G Play 2024 Android Phone.
Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
