I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 6 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
With my August HPUD powerup that I'll be doing after 2PM Thursday (my birthday), I'll notably surpass the threshold of 10,400 Hive Power, which will be a nice birthday gift to myself. My powerup this round looks like it's going to be a little bit less than my July HPUD powerup, but it will still be a good chunk of HIVE added to my stake, and all from passive accumulation over the past month. As HIVE's fiat value rises, less HIVE comes in (except from curation) from many daily and weekly HIVE payouts, so some months I just have fewer with which to work, but it generally always stays within the range of 45-55 HIVE each month to power up, which is pretty good I'd say.
Speaking of HIVE, I've continued to explore and experiment with VSC, and last night I did something rather cool with the 1 HIVE that I had sitting in my ETH/EVM wallet (Atomic Wallet). Since HIVE has no present use in VSC unless we intend to run a VSC consensus node, I sent my singular HIVE to my Hive account, but I did so in a way that I hadn't tried before. Instead of sending it to this account within VSC, and then withdrawing it manually, I sent it directly from my ETH/EVM wallet (via Altera) to layer 1, where it soon appeared in my Hive wallet (ready to powerup), sent from @vsc.gateway. That's pretty badass.
I had just gotten my liquid holding of HBD in my Atomic Wallet to the minimum necessary to perform transactions on VSC/Altera (1 HBD) a short time before sending the HIVE, and it gave me enough Resource Credits to perform one transaction, which is thankful all that I needed. Connecting my Hive account to Altera gives me a bonus of 5 Resource Credits, which I think translates to 5 transactions, but I'll need to test that. I still intend to send 1 HBD to my Trust Wallet account, so that it will be able to carry out at least one transaction as well, and to deposit 1 HBD into VSC on this account, to give myself an extra boost, since I'll be keeping most of my assets on this account (regardless of blockchain), and doing all of my VSC asset management from it.
What I've experienced so far with VSC, and its present frontend Altera, impressed me quite a lot, and I can't wait to see its full rollout. It's looking like pretty much any crypto asset that someone might have, regardless of the blockchain, will be usable with the VSC framework, with the ability to send any such asset, from whichever wallet, to any other wallet, seamlessly.
There are certain off-chain crypto assets that I have (and which I've been growing) that I'm really hoping will be supported and compatible also, like QORT from Qortal, PKOIN from Bastyon, VOI from the Voi Network, and of course BLURT from Blurt. Hive is a hotbed for development right now, and we now have this new and revolutionary technological framework being built and rolled out in our own backyard, and one that promises to redefine how crypto is done. I know I'm ready, how about you?
Yesterday, Monday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my Hive tasks, later than intended or expected (due to a technical issue with Qortal), around 2:45PM, giving my attention first to some photography for my posts. Once I has a nice batch, I went to help Braja with a few tasks at her place. When I had that done, I took a quick asset-management break up at the Flow House, heading next to chop and dump bad/used coconuts at the upper coco bar, and to tidy the area a bit. After I had that completed, I worked in my nursery for a short time up-potting plants in need, and then I went to plant two ayahuasca vines out in the 400 acres, next to GaiaYoga's property, something that I'd been meaning to do for a while. Once I finished planting, I took a shower, stopped by the Landing to collect some leftover food, and my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee from the fridge, and with those in hand(s), I made my way back to the Flow House, to begin my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. I got everything done by 10PM, and after some asset management, and a scan of my X feed, I went to bed a bit after 11:30PM. I woke up about 6:45AM, having thankfully slept well, doing more asset management, going to make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, then returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just after 12:45PM, so it's a lovely time to wrap this up, so that I may get to my few other important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to focus first on photography for my posts, straining and blending kefir (and getting another round fermenting), and then community/land work. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until tomorrow's iteration of these posts! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
2025 Life Goals
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
All photos were taken with my Motorola G Play 2024 Android Phone.
Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
