I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 6 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
It's becoming abundantly clear to me that we're going to need a whole lot more HBD very soon, as multiple developments and initiatives within the Hive Blockchain Ecosystem are turning our beloved Hive-Backed Dollars, which is already one of Hive's most valuable assets, into quite a hot commodity indeed. In my last several posts I've been talking a lot about VSC (Virtual Smart Chain), and how it is going to be a huge sink for HBD, because Resource Credits (RC) for transactions on VSC are derived from liquid HBD, so the more transactions that are needed, the more liquid HBD that is required.
That's only part of the story regarding HBD's importance within VSC, however, because soon VSC is going to have a large number of diesel/liquidity pools for all manner of off-chain crypto assets, and every single one of them will have HBD as one half of the token pair, the idea being to pair one volatile asset with one stable asset. This fact in and of itself inherently means that the call for HBD is going to be quite huge among investors and liquidity providers (I fall into both categories). The more liquidity that is desired necessitates an ever-greater amount of HBD, which for smaller to mid-range investors/liquidity providers, could become quite a bugger indeed.
On top of that, we also have the strong multi-pronged worldwide community push with the #SpendHBD initiative and Distriator, with more businesses that accept HBD (as well as other Hive assets and BTC) as a valid form of payment for goods and services, continuing to grow daily. This is spreading very quickly in areas with poor economic conditions, because it's a lifeline for people, that's allowing them to successfully surmount such conditions. Being able to do this in 'developed' counties would take many times more HBD as well.
HIVE and HBD exist in a delicate balance with each other, and I'm wondering how this very-probable strong spike in the need for HBD is going to affect that balance, since I'm guessing that as more things are brought online, that the call for HBD may indeed come to exceed the call for HIVE. There are fail-safe mechanisms with the Blockchain which maintain this balance, so how exactly is this going to play out?
Given my present holdings and investments, I have no clue how I'm going to generate sufficient HBD to be able to add to the soon-to-be VSC diesel/liquidity pools in any notable manner. I'm probably going to have to start very, very slowly, with a little bit of HBD at a time. I'm very excited about VSC and its extraordinary investment potential, to be sure, but I'm also quite concerned about how to invest efficiently and effectively given my HBD income. As with anything in life, or on Hive, I'll just do the best that I can.
Yesterday, Tuesday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my Hive tasks, quite late again, around 2:45PM, focusing first, as is almost always the case, on some photography for my posts. With a satisfying batch taken, I moved on to straining and blending kefir in the Landing, and collecting young coconut meat and water, to prepare a new round to ferment. Other than working in my nursery for a short while, I didn't get a whole lot more done yesterday, which was a little pertubing, but that's how it flows sometimes. Once I had kefir done, I made myself some food (spiced-and-seasoned ground beef, eggs, onions, tomatoes, longevity spinach leaves, olive oil, and sea salt), and with that and my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee in hand(s), I headed back to the Flow House, to ease into my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. I got a rather late start on notifications, and in the end I wasn't able to get through them all before I had to stop around 11:30PM, to do more asset management, scan my X feed, and finally go to bed, way too late again, just before 1AM. I woke up just before 7AM, still feeling that I needed more sleep, doing more asset management, going to make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, then returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just before 11:45AM, so quite a magnificent time to wrap this up, so that I may get to my few other important Hive tasks, before preparing for a session that's scheduled for 1:30PM. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until tomorrow's edition of these posts! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
2025 Life Goals
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
All photos were taken with my Motorola G Play 2024 Android Phone.
Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
