I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 6 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
For those of you who read these posts regularly, you're probably aware that I'm active on multiple blockchains, like Blurt, Qortal, Bastyon, to name a few of the more significant ones, and that I've talked often about my desire to create a multi-blockchain community. I'm happy to say that we now have a conversation going in our Alive Tribe core-leadership Discord chat where we're discussing making the We Are Alive Tribe a multi-chain community. Since there are already so many Alive Tribe members active on Blurt, and because Ben (@benthomaswwd) and I have already been there for a while now, that sibling blockchain is the ideal place to start.
Being a multi-chain community would allow us to both be able to leverage assets across chains (which I'm already doing on my own account), and to help and support community members to onboard, establish, and grow on any blockchain where we have a presence. Hive will always be a primary focus, but we intend to be a very mutually-beneficial addition to any social blockchain where we're active.
Blurt is a natural first choice, since aside from the good number of Alive Tribe peeps that are already a part of that blockchain community, it's also very similar to Hive in many respects (which makes sense, since they were both forked from Steem), with the main differences being that Blurt has no downvotes, Resource Credits, or a layer 2 (although this is now in the works). Blurt is also a good choice because the community there, while smaller than Hive, is extremely supportive, especially of newcomers. Blurt would also allow us to create a We Are Alive Tribe community group there (which I actually did just now, The We Are Alive Tribe Community on Blurt), just like we have here on Hive. I'd say let's get the party started!
On a slightly different topic, there are three very interesting income tokens, ATX, ATF, and PWR, which I've been growing for a while now, that are not your typical income tokens, because they have two different, though complementary, uses. They are all a part of some excellent diesel/liquidity pools, that offer very good daily liquidity rewards in various useful and valuable layer-2 assets (and reasonable pool fees), and that's how I've used them up until this point. This morning, however, I looked bit more closely at their equally interesting income token potential, if kept in our wallets.
If ATF is held, and if ATX and PWR are staked in our wallets, they pay out HIVE at different intervals (I still have to look into their specific periodicities). Given that my stake in the SWAP.HIVE:PWR pool is large, I have a good daily payout in PWR and SWAP.HIVE, so I'm thinking I'd beginning to stake some of the PWR that comes in every day, to begin to benefit from its layer-1 HIVE payouts. These three income tokens are the only ones that I know that offer such great investment opportunities whether we keep them in the pools, or in our wallets.
Yesterday, Monday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my Hive tasks, just after 1:30PM, and since I had a good amount of photos taken from earlier, I put my attention first on straining and blending kefir. When I had that done, I took a quick asset-management break up at the Flow House, after which I went to help Chelsea, where she's staying at Halai Hapai, with a needed repair, and to assist her with one other experimental project (which sadly didn't go so well). After helping Chelsea, I stopped by the Landing to collect my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee from the fridge, and with that in hand, I made my way back to the Flow House, to begin my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. I had to pause that for a little over an hour to go attend the Monday community logistics meeting, and as soon as that was done, I headed back across the property to the Flow House, to get back to Hive. I got everything done quite late, a bit after 11:30PM, and after some asset management, I went to bed, quite late, close to 12:30AM. I woke up around 7:30AM, still feeling that I needed more sleep, doing more asset management, going to make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, then returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just before 1:15PM, so a wonderful time to wrap this up, so that I may get to my other few important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to focus first on photography for my posts, collecting coconut water and coconut meat from several younger coconuts to ferment another round of kefir, and then community/land work. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until tomorrow's edition of these posts! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
2025 Life Goals
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
All photos were taken with my Motorola G Play 2024 Android Phone.
Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
