I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 6 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
On this (mostly) rainy Thursday I have various smaller things that come to mind to mention today, but honestly I was hit pretty hard by Charlie Kirk's horrific assassination yesterday in Utah, so my mind is not quite as focused and clear as it usually is, and for that I apologize. That's a whole big subject in and of itself, that I'm not going to attempt to tackle this morning. Instead, I'll just talk about the various smaller, though significant bits of Hive and Alive Tribe news that are buzzing around in my mind.
First off, Ben (@benthomaswwd) and I will be updating the We Are Alive Tribe/Hive guide PDF, which is an easily-rebrandable introduction and onboarding tool for the Hive Blockchain Ecosystem, and to our beloved community. Since we both have limited time, I don't know yet when we'll have it completed, but I think that it will be worth the wait. There's lots of information that needs to be brought up to date, with a fair bit of new information that we plan to add, including the fact that the We Are Alive Tribe is now a multi-blockchain community, with a new presence on the Blurt Blockchain as well, so important and useful information about Blurt and onboarding on that sibling Blockchain will also be necessary.
I noticed yesterday that the usual monthly payouts of SWAP.BTC, SWAP.ETH, and SWAP.DOGE for a large amount of staked SBT did not arrive, and upon further investigation I learned that the project leader needed to refocus in his own life for a while, to put all his ducks in a row. That explained why the price of SBT dropped so substantially. Yep, that's a bugger, but it's also part and par for the course of investing in layer-2 projects, most of which are run by individual people, with their own personal challenges, natures, and proclivities. This is why I've come to so deeply appreciate project leaders who are all-in on Hive and in what they're building with their project.
I've been mentioning in these posts recently, as has Ben in his own posts, that we're planning on kick-starting Alive Tribe cross-chain community challenges and contests for our members on both Hive and Blurt, with rewards in BLURT and SWAP.BLURT. Ben's already started these challenges in his personal posts, and I'm hoping that we can increase their number and frequency on an official community level soon.
On a positive personal note, I shared a lovely phone conversation this morning with a woman who was recently recommended to me by another woman with whom I work in sessions, with the other women even paying for her first session with me. This is why I don't need or want to advertise what I do, as my work speaks for itself, and spreads on its own merit, which is exactly as it should be. Yet another woman, who lives part of the year here at GaiaYoga, and who very much loves sessions with me, is returning to the Island today, and she already has her first session with me scheduled for tomorrow. I love that, and the work that I do.
Yesterday, Wednesday, after finishing up my Hive tasks by around 12PM, I prepared for a session that was scheduled for 1:30PM. The session started on time, and we finished up by about 5PM, after which I stopped by the Landing to collect my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee from the fridge, and with that in hand, I headed back to the Flow House, to begin my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. Although I got close, I wasn't able to get through all my notifications before I had to stop a bit before 10:45PM, to do some asset management, and then to go to bed around 11:45PM. I woke up around 7AM, doing more asset management, going to make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, then returning to the Flow House for my phone conversation with the woman with whom I'll be working, and to write this post. It's now just after 12:45PM, so it's quite a good time to wrap this up, so that I may get to my other few important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House, to focus first on photography for my posts, straining and blending kefir, and then community/land work. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until tomorrow's version of these posts! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
2025 Life Goals
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
All photos were taken with my Motorola G Play 2024 Android Phone.
Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
