I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 6 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
One of the first memories that I have of the We Are Alive Tribe, from when I first arrived on the Blockchain just about 4 years ago, is how much that I was supported, and how kind everyone was. I noticed that immediately, and it's when the spark of loyalty ignited in my heart. I felt deeply honored when Erik asked me if I would be open to being a comment moderator for the @aliveandthriving daily compilation posts, a job that I happily still do to this day.
When Erik transferred the ownership and leadership of the We Are Alive Tribe to Ben, Rosyel, and myself (the three of us that kept the Alive Tribe alive after Erik left), I felt deeply seen and acknowledged, and that began a whole new path and journey for me in our community, as we rebuilt and began growing it in new ways. Bjorn and his wife Nathalie came on board soon after, and his coding and tech skills, along with server space, allowed us to get our ALIVE tipping bot up and running again, to make the ALIVE token an income token once again, and to recreate our community frontend at a new web address, when the old domain name expired. Bjorn masterfully tracks and manages our backend, which allows us to do what we do every day in the community.
Edgerik and Wilson have been graciously running and managing two @alive.chat challenges each every week, which along with the @aliveandthriving daily complilation posts, and Ben's regular @heartbeatonhive compilation-and-contest posts, encourage ongoing mutually-beneficial activity and engagement within the community. The only thing holding us back from beginning new challenges and contests is more committed and dedicated people to manage and run them.
Now, of course, we are also a multi-blockchain community, with us beginning to set things up, and get things rolling on the Blurt Blockchain as well, and multiple cross-chain community challenges are in the works. This is a big step for the We Are Alive Tribe, and one that commences a new era for our community. In going outside the bounds of our home Hive Blockchain Ecosystem, and needing to clearly define exactly what the Are Alive Tribe is in new frameworks, crafting a succinct elucidation of our purpose, mission, and ethos becomes an important point of community development and growth, and which is in process.
What is the We Are Alive Tribe? What is its driving mission and purpose? What is its core ethos and principles? I have a lot to express in response to those questions, but I want to hear from y'all, Alive Tribe members, on what your answers to those questions might be, and to let it all percolate for a little while, so see what takes shape. Let me know your thoughts and feelings on this, as I'd be grateful to hear them.
Yesterday, Thursday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my Hive tasks, about 1:30PM, giving my attention first to some photography for my posts, and straining and blending kefir (which Chelsea wanted to observe). Once I had those completed, I took a quick asset-management break up at the Flow House, and then I helped Chelsea to measure, cut, and clean a woven hala mat, and to install it on the both the left and right sides of the front façade of Halai Hapai (where she's staying). We finished that up by sunset, and after our good byes, I stopped by the Landing to collect my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee from the fridge, to then head back to the Flow House to begin my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. I got everything done by about 11:30PM, and after some asset management, and a scan I'd my X feed, I went to bed just after 11:45PM. I woke up just after 7AM, having slept fairly well, doing more asset management, going to make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, then returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just after 12PM, so it's an excellent time to wrap this up, so that I may get to my other few important Hive tasks, before preparing for a session that's scheduled for 1:30PM. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until tomorrow's expression of these posts! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
2025 Life Goals
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
All photos were taken with my Motorola G Play 2024 Android Phone.
Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
