Diesel/Liquidity pools are bridges between tokens, which with sufficient pool liquidty, allow people to easily and quickly swap between one asset and another. This is useful in itself, of course, though that usefulness increases many fold when different pools are linked together by shared tokens, to create a network, as it allows for immensely more swap flexibility, with any one token able to be swapped for any of several others.
It gets even more interesting and useful when pools are created to interconnect different pool networks, thus making any token in either pool network easily swappable both within and between these interconnected network. This creates a very flexible, versatile, and mutually-beneficial investment framework.
Creating pools that only bridge two assets, like was originally done with our ALIVE:ALIVEM pool, while indeed very helpful, also basically makes an island, with no connection points to any other token. That's what we rectified by creating our ALIVE:SWAP.HIVE pool, which indirectly opened up swapping with the majority of other assets on Hive Engine, via the master asset, SWAP.HIVE.
As this understanding has clarified in my mind, it makes me reevaluate my original plan for creating new ALIVE pools. Part of it, connecting to various off-chain-linked crypto assets, as well as to master tokens that are an inherent part of Hive Engine, like SWAP.HIVE, SWAP.HBD, BEE, and BEE, remains the same, but when it comes to layer-2 community tokens, that's where I'm now reconsidering, because strategic choices could interconnect and open up direct swapping between several significant pool networks, and ALIVE could be the bridge, which would increase its usefulness.
Some of the most interesting community-token pool networks in which I'm presently involved and investing on my own account, and with the We Are Alive Tribe, are CENT, CCC, LBI, HSBIDAO, LEO, DEC/SPS, MEME, PHOTO, POB, WOO, PIZZA, among others. I'm still deciding what the next ALIVE pool should be, though regardless of which one that turns out to be, all I know is that we need a whole bunch more BEE, many thousands, to build our own ALIVE pool network, and to connect it with other significant community-token pool networks. Yesterday, Monday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, by a little after 2PM, giving my attention to some photography for my posts first, after which I chopped and dumped bad/used coconuts at the upper coco bar, and I tidied up the area a bit, before finally collecting coconut water and coconut meat from several younger coconuts to begin another round of kefir fermentation. With that, and a few other small tasks, completed, I went to the new kitchen to make myself some food (a simple grilled cheese, on olive-oil-toasted sourdough, with pepperjack cheese, smoked hot sauce, and Dijon mustard), and with that and my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee in hands, I headed back to the Flow House to begin my evening Hive tasks. I got everything done by just after 9PM, and after some asset management, and resolving an issue on Qortal, I went to bed by just before 12AM. I woke up just after 7AM, having slept reasonably well, doing more asset management, going to make my superfood fire coffee in the new kitchen, then returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just after 1:15PM, so it's quite a good time to wrap this up, so that I may attend to my few other important Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to focus first on photography for my posts, and then on community/land work. 2026 Life Goals
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
