I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 7 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
Among the many domains in which I'm involved, technology is one of immense interest for me, but not just any technology, since so much of it is, without most people knowing it, being used against them, but rather technological frameworks and tools that are in alignment the best interests of those who utilize them. The longer that I've explored, researched, and learned, and the more experience that I've gained, the more a core set of technological principles have coalesced in my mind, and with it an increasing focus on the various projects which employ them.

From my perspective, the three most essential primary technological priciples, upon which all else is build, are being FOSS (Free and Open-Source Software), community driven, and sovereignty driven. All three of these priciples are closely related and overlapping with each other, though I would say that being FOSS is the ground, because without that there can be no trust. Being community and sovereignty driven are both on the second level, so they're the foundation built on top of the solid open-source ground, putting people and community first.

Above these, other important priciples would be peer-to-peer distrbution/decentralization, blockchain accountability, externally-uncontrollable cryptocurrency assets, and privacy/security/anonymity, which together form most of the Web3 framework. There are a goodly number of incredibly interesting and useful open-source software projects that make use of some, or all of the above priciples. Some even implement the same principle in a different way.

In listing the most significant and interesting open-source software projects, I will always have to start with Linux (with my preference being Arch Linux), and in close association, the BSDs (FreeBSD, OpenBSD, NetBSD, among a few others). Even though they only employ some of these important technogical priciples, they are the base OS-level framework for the development, hosting, and use of most other interesting and useful open-source projects.

I would also mention Tor, I2P, and Freenet, which together form what is known as the darkweb, as they all have their own self-contained, internal, peer-to-peer networks (basically their own versions of the internet), that allows the hosting various kinds of web content, from web pages to files. Qortal should also really be included in this list as well, since they're doing a very similar thing, but in the blockchain domain. Qortal will also soon be going to a whole new level once Reticulum, which is another incredible project, is integrated. IPFS (Inter-Planetary Filesystem) and Holochain also come to mind as well, both of which are non-blockchain based frameworks that accomplish similar ends. Hive and Blurt should be mentioned, too, of course, as they both embody most of the above-mentioned priciples quite well, though both need much more decentralization than they presently have.

Yesterday, Tuesday, I left the Kasbah, after finishing up my Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, by around 3PM, partly due to non-stop rain, giving my attention to a few small jungle-community tasks. The rain just didn't stop, so I wasn't really able to get any useful photos for my posts. It wasn't really possible to do much of anything outside with all the rain, so I used my time to go to Wabisabi to prepare another batch of spiced-and-seasoned ground beef, to make myself some food (a spiced-and-seasoned beef burger, on olive-oil-toasted sourdough, with pepperjack cheese, smoked hot sauce, and Dijon mustard) with it, and with that and my jar of leftover superfood tire coffee in hands, to head back to the Kasbah, to begin my evening Hive tasks. I got everything done by around 10PM, and after some asset management, I went to bed by a bit after 10:30PM. I woke up around 5:45AM, having slept fairly well, doing more asset management, going to make my superfood fire coffee in Wabisabi, then returning to the Kasbah to write this post. It's now just before 2PM, so it's a marvelous time to wrap this up, so that I may attend to my few other important Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, before leaving the Kasbah a little later in the afternoon, to focus first on some photography for my posts, and then on jungle-community/land work and tasks. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until tomorrow's manifestation of these posts! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁🙏💚✨🤙

2026 Life Goals
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.

All photos were taken with my Motorola G Play 2024 Android Phone.

Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚✨🤙

This is our collaboratively shared Witness node between the We Are Alive Tribe, and @borniet's and my MMB (Maximum Mutual Benefit) Project, here to build something good for all of us! The higher in the witness ranking we go, the more that we'll be able to grow the We Are Alive Tribe, and the more that we'll be able to share with all of you!

If you appreciate what we're doing with the We Are Alive Tribe, and feel inspired and motivated to lend a hand in building and growing our decentralized community economy and financial framework, which benefits all of us, community conntributions/donations/investments may be sent to our 'We Are Alive Tribe Sovereign Wealth Investment Fund' account, @waat-swif. They're deeply appreciated, and are put to very good use.

Bjorn is our badass coder who hosts and manages our (and also Bradley's) community backends, he creates all sorts of useful tools, and he assists people all over the Blockchain constantly. He redefines the term 'busy'!

Witness Node!

Bradley's tenaciously committed and all-in on Hive for the long haul (just like me!), and the higher his witness goes in the ranking, the higher the weekly BBH and BBHO dividend payouts will be!
