I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 5 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
Because of my love and passion for Hive, I do my best to stay up to date with the various ongoing developments across the Ecosystem, and as of late there are so many super interesting, and incredibly useful fronts of development that are coming into my awareness, that I'm almost starting to feel a little overwhelmed, and definitely very excited! Since Hive has no singular head or leader, the development on Hive, like most other aspects, is equally decentralized, and as such, there are many different and simultaneous focuses of work across both layer 1 and layer 2, very much like a bee hive.

Even a new kind of layer-2 infrastructure is now in its early stages of being rolled out, VSC, which is an entirely different implementation of layer 2, created to fill the gaps of Hive Engine, and to compliment it. So now Hive is going to have two layer-2 networks moving forward. These are historic times for the Blockchain, with the soft launch of the VSC mainnet, VSC Node Operators Soft Launch - Early Access Application just a few days ago. Of course, Bjorn (@borniet) has already gotten a VSC node set up and running...lol!

Another area that is peaking my interest is the absolutely incredible work that the InLeo team is doing on LeoDEX, which is a multi-chain platform that provides access to seamless cross-chain swaps, trading, and liquidity pools. Cross-chain interoperability is something that I've been talking about and wanting to see on Hive (and on the other sovereignty-driven blockchains where I'm active) for years now, so what's happening on LeoDEX is simply glorious! The crypto future is one of multi-chain interconnection and interoperability, where we'll be able to easily transfer assets and interact across a multitude of blockchains. It's coming!

There are certain individuals on Hive that are exceedingly prolific in their developmental persuits, and whom certainly deserve recognition for their multiplicitous contributions. Two that have been appearing on my radar quite a lot lately, due to the many areas where they're working, are @ecoinstats (he has several accounts) and @thecrazygm, who have proven to be an exceptionally productive team. One very significant tasks in which they've been devoting time is to forking and updating beem, and taking over its maintenance. Since beem is seemingly no longer maintained, and Hive still makes notable use of it, their work is really quite important. Beem's reincarnation is called Nectar and Nectar-Engine, TheCrazyGM/nectarflower-js - Github, and it's a part of their Open Mithril Development Framework that they're creating for the Hive community, to help make development more accessible for those who have interest, which is also hugely important. I'm following their work closely!

The fantastic work of the @peakd team on their @peak.open projects, which they released to the Hive community, PeakD Open Projects, is also an excellent development resource, that Hivers can use as a base to build their own Hive creations, also needs a shout-out and recognition for their contribution to our Ecosystem. As I move ever-closer to the backend-development side of Hive, my excitement keeps growing, as does my desire to get more deeply involved. We shall see!

Yesterday, Tuesday, I left the Flow House, after wrapping up my Hive tasks, just a little after 2PM, giving my attention first to some photography for these posts, and then straining and blending kefir (kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao) in the Landing. When I had those done, I chopped and dumped old and used coconuts at the upper coco bar, and I tidied up the area a bit. Once I had that done, I took a quick asset-management break up at the Flow House, then I got my machete and collected a wheelbarrow full of assorted edible foliage for cow-milking food. After finishing cow food, I took a shower, got my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee from the Landing fridge, and then I made my way back to the Flow House, to dive into my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. Since I wasn't able to get fully caught-up from the night before, and I had a lot of new ones, I wasn't able to get through all my notifications for the second day in a row, before needing to stop to do some asset management, and then go to bed close to 12:30AM. I woke up just before 7AM again, still feeling that I needed a bit more sleep, doing more asset management, starting on this post, and then getting out of bed to go make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, before returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just before 12:30PM, so a marvelous time to end this post, so that I may get to my few other important Hive tasks, before preparing for a session at 1:30PM. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until tomorrow's expression of this post! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁🙏💚✨🤙

2025 Life Goals
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.

All photos were taken with my Motorola G Play 2024 Android Phone.

Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
