I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 6 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
As I've been mentioning lately in these posts, I recently created an account on the Blurt Blockchain last week, and I've been exploring and getting myself oriented in that new ecosystem since then. Of course, most of my time is still spent on Hive, but I've been doing my best create a base there, and to connect and get to know the community with the time that I have available. There are so many present and former Steemians and and Hivers there, that I already feel very welcomed to and at home.
I ran into an issue with inadvertently using up most of my liquid BLURT in transaction fees, as I upvoted, commented and replied, joined communities, followed people, and other such social interactions. One cross-chain friend, @offgridlife, who has already supported me quite a lot, had sent me 42 BLURT, most of which I powered up. Unfortunately I powered up too much, so I couldn't publish any posts, and with the above-mentioned trasaction fees, my liquid BLURT went bye-bye fast. Oh well, I learned what not to do...lol!
This morning I asked Ben (@benthomaswwd / @benthomasuk) if he might be able to send me a bit more BLURT, so that I could publish a few posts, and get an income of liquid BLURT flowing. He very kindly sent me 100 SWAP.BLURT here on Hive (I meant for him to send me some there on Blurt, but this worked too...lol!), which I immediately sent over to Blurt. Just before beginning to write this post, I wrote and published my introductory post on Blurt, Warm Greetings, Blurt Community!, which has already received several upvotes (all votes on Blurt are upvotes, as downvotes do not exist there), and comments, to which I've been responding all morning. That's a very nice way to begin my Blurt Journey indeed. Another Hive friend, @ladyaryastark, also joined me on Blurt, and already made her introductory post, which was lovely to see.
My fellow multifaceted, off-grid friend, @offgridlife, gave me a lot of valuable information about sharing Hive posts on both Steem and Burt, and and he shared how he's been writing and sharing posts across mulltiple blockchains for many years now. From that conversation, I'm feeling quite optimistic about writing and publishing my posts first here on Hive, and then sharing them on both Blurt and Steem (I have an account there that I created to explore, but which I've never used), along with my usual sharing on Bastyon and X. Today, much to my satisfaction and gratitude, I was able to finally get the Blurt ball rolling! Yahooey!
On a slightly different topic, the 4th Anniversary of the We Are Alive Tribe is tomorrow, on Wednesday the 16th. Although we've all been quite busy, we're planning to publish an official anniversary-contest post at some point tomorrow. Because of my schedule tomorrow, I won't have the time to write it myself, so I'm really hoping that Ben or Rosyel might be able to do it. It will be a recap of the Alive Tribe up to this point, and a community-engagement challenge where we'll be giving away both HIVE and ALIVE. I think that the community will very much enjoy it!
Yesterday, Monday, I left the Flow House, once I had finished up my Hive tasks, just a little after 2:30PM, focusing first on photography for these posts. I had to pause that for a short while to help Ano move a non-functional vehicle to an area on the other side of the property where it could be worked on and repaired. As soon as we had that done, I returned to my photo-taking endeavors, and after I got a nice batch of shots, I transported another wheelbarrow full of salvaged plants from my derilict nursery, across the property, to my recently-reclaimed nursery behind the Landing. As I was finshing that up, I got into a very enjoyable conversation with Alex on plants. Geeking out on plants is one of my favorite things! Once we wrapped up our conversstion, I collected my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee and leftover food from the Landing fridge, and I made my way back to the Flow House, to get an early start on my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. I paused that for an hour and a half to attend the Monday logistics meeting, and as soon as that was done, I stopped by the Landing to pick up my jar of kefir from the Landing fridge, before heading back to the Flow House to get back to Hive. I got everything done by around 11:30PM, and after some asset management, I finally went to bed, a bit too late, just before 1AM. I woke up just after 7AM, still feeling that I needed a bit more sleep, doing more asset management, beginning on this post, then getting out of bed just after 8:30AM to go make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, before returning to the Flow House to write and publish my above-mentioned Blurt introduction post, respond to comments on it, and then to write this post. It's now just before 1:30PM, so an excellent time to end this post, so that I may get to my few other important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House a bit later in the afternoon, to first give my attention to more photography for these posts, and then community/land work. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until tomorrow's edition of this post! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
2025 Life Goals
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
All photos were taken with my Motorola G Play 2024 Android Phone.
Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
