Today I share Deva Premal's Om Asatoma, which is a modern version of a mantra that comes from the Rig Veda, and is more than 5,000 years old. It'd been sung by millions of people for thousands of years, and it has a great deal of energy behind it. It can be translated as, 'lead me from the unreal to the real, lead me from darkness to light, lead me from death (time-bound consciousness) to immortality (eternity)'. This was the very first Sanskrit mantra that I learned from the back in 2009, and it's always been one of my favorites. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
