At least, he tried to "zap" a "Hive Lightning" wallet (V4V) for @savvytester even if it is unlikely to be successful. ๐ค

What I mean with "your own Lightning Node wallet" is the wallet (even custodial ones such as on V4V) that you will use to spend or convert the sats that you accumulated on your #Nostr wallet. ๐คฏ Paying a fee is just one-time for a given period of time (such as 30 days), then sending sats between them has a very low fixed fee (down to just 1 sat per transaction). ๐ค

I can think of the following as a quick (and likely incomplete) summary of the advantages regarding earnings on Hive and on #Nostr. ๐ค

- content rewards (for both authors and curators) come from HIVE token inflation, not from one's own wallet
- decentralized wallet; no custodians of one's tokens
- practically zero fees transferring HIVE tokens to another Hive account
- can easily change private keys if exposed; Hive Power and HIVE/HBD in Savings are protected

- zaps are credited instantly at the recipient's LN wallet
- sats on the recipient's wallet can be sent or withdrawn anytime to another LN wallet
