I don't know if I feel like going through the hassle of making sure that my lightning node is online. I'd also have to pay a fee to open a channel to other nodes. πππβ¨π€

What I mean with "your own Lightning Node wallet" is the wallet (even custodial ones such as on V4V) that you will use to spend or convert the sats that you accumulated on your #Nostr wallet. π€― Paying a fee is just one-time for a given period of time (such as 30 days), then sending sats between them has a very low fixed fee (down to just 1 sat per transaction). π€

That's a nice run down, and it definitely look like Hive wins. πππβ¨π€

I think that someone who likes a "true coin" that isn't just a token (not necessarily a "Bitcoin maxi") and/or does not like flagging though would still very likely flock to #Nostr though despite the advantages of Hive. π§ββοΈπ€

See, that's a curious thing, because a coin is produced directly by the blockchain, while a token is created with certain parameters by an account, so by that definition HIVE and HBD are both coins, not tokens. All the tokens in layer 2 are truly tokens, though. πππβ¨π€
