There need to be constraints on how it is used. A reason needs to be given, and abusive downvotes need a mechanism that can nullify them when necessary. πππβ¨π€

Anyone can give any reason though, such as "I just don't like it", and anyone having good ideas might hesitate to share their thoughts because of possible retaliation. π€―

Yes, but they will have to type or copy and paste it in every single time they downvote, which would eliminate downvote trails. That happens all the time, unfortunately. πππβ¨π€

Perhaps the reason someone following such trail would use would be "just following a trail" or something similar, and some Hive dapps (or bots) would allow putting such text when autoflagging. π€―

The lead of the trail would have to do the same thing, and some version of a manual puzzle to add a downvote comment would help that situation. πππβ¨π€
