If I remember using it during a commenting session, I would not want to insert direct. to every link, because as I start my commenting sessions, I open all comment notifications all at once (like what I did a few minutes before this comment) !INDEED. š¤Æš

Well, if the Cloudflare versions work for you, then there's not much need to use the direct site. šššāØš¤

In my case, I would rather tolerate (slightly) longer loading times (due to not having a CDN) for a website (which is #Ecency in this case) than to use the website's proxy which intermittently has a problem which occasionally prevents me from loading the website itself. š§āāļøš¤Æ

Ditto that, and I also despise Cloudflare. I don't care about slightly longer load times. šššāØš¤

Such CDNs are proxies !INDEED, and unless the owner of the website or servers fully controls them, there are security risks. š¤Æ

I agree. Relying on proprietary third-party services is something that I do my best to avoid as much as possible. šššāØš¤

Even for mostly or fully static websites, there still are (security) risks with using proxies for them !INDEED. š¤š¤Æ
