No, I'd say to not expect things in any context.

Thanks muchly, and me too, though it's a bit iffy at the moment. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

I remember @savvyplayer saying that expectations typically cause disappointments about 5 months ago to another person here on Hive, such that I think that I should remind them about what they just said! πŸ€”πŸ§˜β€β™‚οΈπŸ€―πŸ˜†

What you learned about the Flow House in your local community getting (severely) damaged by strong winds and rains can definitely be used to make it stronger !INDEED! πŸ§˜β€β™‚οΈπŸ˜ŽπŸ˜

Well there you go, and indeed.

Well, that's my hope at least. It's been there for a while, so the natural materials of the structure, mostly bamboo, are beginning to degrade, so I'm not sure how much longer that it will be livable. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

Do you mean that you can't simply replace the old bamboo of your Flow House with new bamboo, or maybe sturdier materials that you can find (from the jungle) !INDEED? πŸ€”πŸ§˜β€β™‚οΈπŸ€― It's also possible that you and your fellow residents are planning to create a new structure similar to (or even better) than the Flow House. πŸ˜ŽπŸ˜…

I wish it were that simple. It was the first iteration of an experimental design by Sundog, the fellow who built it, and with how it's built, it's really not easy to replace most of the components. That may be a necessity at some point soon, but it would of course take time. I'm still in limbo. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

Maybe some of the materials used to build the Flow House of your local community !INDEED affect the flow (of time, and probably "energy"), so they would definitely be hard to replace! πŸ€”πŸ§˜β€β™‚οΈπŸ€―πŸ˜†

Anyway, that "Sundog" name (of a person) sounds interesting! 😎😏

It's interesting that you mention that, because the structure of the Flow House, being geodesic, focuses and collects bio or life energy in a very beneficial way, so it's an excellent place to give sessions, and to work and sleep.

Sundog is a very interesting fellow. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

I am thinking that your local community (and other communities close to nature similar to yours) would benefit from more than one Flow House (or something similar to it), such that whenever you need to repair or renovate one, you can likely still use the other. πŸ€”πŸ§˜β€β™‚οΈπŸ€“

I see from using #Ecency Search that you used to talk about Sundog here on Hive more than 3 years ago. πŸ€“πŸ˜…

Yes, likely true, though the main fellow who decides on how to implement new structures hates the Flow House's design, so there is only one.

Yes, that's when he still lived at GaiaYoga. He lives in La'akea now, which is another local intentional community. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™
