Después de la lluvia que venimos teniendo en esta zona del mundo, y tras haber caminado el día de ayer por la reserva, decidimos que era una buena idea hacerlo por la costa; como saben, aquí hay rincones preciosos para hacerlo, o para sentarnos a disfrutar de la vista del lugar.
After the rain we've been having in this part of the world, and after walking through the reserve yesterday, we decided it was a good idea to do it along the coast; As you know, there are some lovely spots here to do just that, or to sit and enjoy the view.
Esta parte de la ciudad es tan preciosa que el flaco se quedó a vivir aquí; creo que todos ya lo conocen. Así se llama el primer perrito que se mudó a esta parte de la costa, y las personas le construyeron un hogar, haciendo una casita de madera.
This part of the city is so beautiful that the skinny guy stayed to live here; I think everyone already knows him. This is the name of the first dog that moved to this part of the coast, and the people built him a home, making a little wooden house
Si bien continúa el invierno, estos últimos días no ha sido tan frío, lo que sí, gran parte del tiempo está nublado, lo que es genial, porque cuando el "sol" está presente, suele ser fuerte. Esto es solo un comentario, porque honestamente, sin importar cómo esté el día, las caminatas por aquí siempre son geniales.
While winter continues, these last few days haven't been so harsh. It's cold, but it's mostly cloudy, which is great because when the sun is out, it's usually strong. This is just a side note, because honestly, no matter the weather, the walks around here are always great.
Siempre digo que las personas que vivimos aquí somos bendecidas; tener toda la naturaleza en nuestras calles es muy saludable, y si nos tomamos el tiempo de caminar cerca de ella, es aún más genial. Esta ha sido otra genial caminata de miércoles; hemos disfrutado mucho viendo el paisaje de la costa del río.
I always say that those of us who live here are blessed; having all this nature on our streets is so healthy, and if we take the time to walk around it, it's even better. This has been another great Wednesday walk; we've really enjoyed the scenery along the riverbank.
