Just a sunny frosty day. Just snow. How little it takes sometimes to make you want to live again.

Hello there!
It has been a while, I know. Also, I am aware it's not Wednesday yet (or already?) I don't often feel inspired to post these days, so I seize these rare sparks of life that I want to share.
My company closed for two weeks, and we all got time off. Unpaid, though. I must admit, it's great to know that today is Monday and I don't have to do anything at all 😁. So I spent half the day just enjoying the sun and fresh snow.
Today was a day just for me. A day for things I had been putting off for a long time. I was in no hurry, listening to music on my headphones and smiling at passers-by.

I went downtown to buy tools for a home manicure. Stopped by the store that sells my favorite candies.
I had lunch at a rib joint. I'd been wanting to try their food for a long time. Like, several years. Every time I walk past their restaurant, I see a crowd at the entrance. And I don't like crowds and queues. Today, I was sure that I would easily find a place at a table, but I didn't expect it to be that easy.👇

She covered the table with a large sheet of paper on which she wrote her name and everything I had ordered - beer, ribs, and sauce. She also marked the place where my “plate” would be. In fact, it was a wooden tray.

They don't bring fork and knife for ribs, but there's a roll of paper towels on every table. They also bring each guest a paper bib. Handsome 😍

At 3 o'clock, they have to turn on the lights, so I'm going home. I walk past the house that was hit by a Russian drone two days ago. I was at home at the time. For a moment, the whole house shook, and all the car alarms went off. It's very close, less than 200 meters away.

When I walked past it, rescue operations were in full swing.
Rescuers cleared away debris and helped residents. Medical personnel and psychologists were also on site. The police organized detours.
I must say that our friendly countries provide us with a lot of equipment. But machines don't work without people. And I am confident that our rescuers, firefighters, and combat medics are the best in the world.💖💪

Today, you can see that everything has been cleaned up, and all the broken windows have been covered with plastic or boards. The flower shop on the first floor is open!👇

Winter days are very short. While I was writing, it got dark outside. Recently, I got this cute little duckling. It glows in the dark and changes color. Plus, it's made of soft silicone and feels really nice to the touch.

That's it!
Happy holidays to you and your loved ones!
