I've come to despise downvote trails, and I think that they should be removed. Reasons need to be given for downvotes. Period. πππβ¨π€

If ever such trails become generally discouraged here on Hive, people who still like them will still find ways to use them, such as by either making them harder to detect or simply creating their own bot for that purpose. π€―

However, those upvote trails that will be (or are already) created to counter flagging trails will need (much) greater support, as whoever joins them will basically "burn" their Voting Power because they will get little to no curator rewards for participating. π€―

I think that the "anti-flagging trail initiative" should be backed by Hive Whales (and Hive Orcas) with (significantly) more total Hive Power than those who don't want it, for it to become successful. π€―π€
