It doesn't take a lot of computer resources, especially with the recent core releases and the new UI. Actually there is a task-bar icon that let's me see how it's doing. I also keep the UI open, so I check things several times per day. πππβ¨π€

There are some Linux distros which love updating themselves often, especially those that have beta updates enabled !INDEED. π€― I assume that your Arch Linux is not one of them. π
