The past always come calling.
The funny thing about it is that it doesn't need one's permission or invitation to come. It shows at the moment it's summoned and most times, wreaking havoc. Her case is sad, but it's obviously the consequences of her actions back then.

I mentioned something in this line when I discussed on a similar matter recently. It was that what we do today and tomorrow will determine the records of our history. So, it's up to us to fill it with good things, or with despicable things that will remain a scar to us. Life doesn't forget what we drop in it.
