Escaping Time | Mixed Media Project (NFTShowroom Mint)

Is there a remedy for escaping time? If so, what is yours that will allow you to pass through those seconds and minutes without fear of wastefulness or regret?

For me, a quiet place in a quaint space away from the ringing in my ears.

For me, it's the closing of the door, shutting out the world. Complete silence. Only then can I hear myself ponder on the things that matter so that I can break down the barriers to resolution.

I've noticed that as I age, the feeling of being crowded overwhelms me. In my younger days, I enjoyed the company of family and friends. Now, not so much. The external stressors of a stressful career left an indelible impression on my mind and health.

Now, I only long for the peace that solitude brings.

How much time it takes? It doesn't matter.

For my current mixed media art project, I utilized Canva, my design program which began with a blank, white canvas. I then added layers of elements.

Below is the result:

With the assistance of Mosh Pro (f/k/a Photo Mosh), I was able to use a variation tool to achieve the eyebrow effect of the hourglass. Of course, it first involved placing the hourglass over the eye as I decided to do in my design program.
