The people having suffered for sos many years from maladministration vowed to unseat the ruling party. The opposition keeps growing in leaps and binds by the day.

On the day of the polls, alot of people trooped out enmass to cast their votes. The electoral officers were handy to do their job. Accreditation started well on time with the people gearing and roaring to go.

The ruling party sensed a bad and irreversible defeat glaring at their face. They decided to apply the brakes.

Voting was called immediately with many polling stations closed down forthwith, especially those perceived as being in the opposition camps or areas.

As I was going home I heard that another polling stating was closed down due to an alleged crowd violence. The ruling party thinks that by so doing, they will bring 'sanity' in the polity and somehow rig their way back to power. Unfortunately for them, this time, the people have become wiser and well prepared for their gimmicks and uncanny antics.
