The final game of the season promised to be as entertaining as ever. FC Dallas, already threatened by relegation needed a win to stay in the top flight of the league. However, they squared up against the league leaders who needed just a draw - a point to lift the championship yet again.
As expected, the pressure was already on FC Dallas to perform. They must produce a positive result to avoid the inevitable drop.
Once the game began, everything they have the ball in promising areas their fans will always shout shoot it! Most times the players will yield to their overtures and miscue the ball. This had happened over and over again and with the game tied at goalless, the pressure began to mount.
Even their head coach joined the crowd and disillusioned fans to shout shoot it! - once his boys appeared to have gotten to promising positions.
At the end of the day the reigning champions held their own and got tht result they needed most to retain their championship. However, FC Dallas ate the humble pie - they were related having failed to secure maximum points.
