The journey to the hinterland was not all that rosy for Joel. He woke up as early as 5:00AM in the morning to prepare and then by 6:00AM he rushed to the Metro park to board a coater bus. By the time he got to the central park, he was the third passenger there. At first he thought that the bus won't take off that day. But upon inquiry he was told that it will take off by 7:30AM local time.
Joel waited till the bus was full and the journey began. He was sitting at the front seat, close to the driver - passenger side. When he turned backwards to have a look at the other passengers he saw that the driver had covered up that area by pulling down velvet curtain. He didn't know why the driver had to do that. However when he inquired, he was told that the velvet curtain prevents unauthorized persons from reaching out to the driver while on transit.
