¿Y qué? Si a mi edad me da por empezar otra vez, si no entiendo las modas, si prefiero el silencio a los aplausos... ¿Y qué?
¿Y qué? Si cada vez que me monto en el tren del metro falla la electricidad, y los de la economía informal te desesperan con su canto de "tres por dólar"... ¿Y qué?
¿Y qué? Si esta mañana, cuando ya estaba de traje y corbata, se me derramó el café en la camisa blanca, la que más me gusta, y por eso llegué tarde a la reunión con el cliente. ¿Y qué?
¿Y qué? Si el gobierno hace de las suyas... y el tipo sigue con su "¿Y qué?"
¿Y qué? Si busco cumplir con los cinco minutos, pero los "¡¿Y qué?!", abundan, y el resto de las palabras se ausentan como el amor de ella. ¿Y qué?
¿Y qué? Si cada vez que escucho a uno defender lo indefendible solo porque está detrás de una dádiva y no piensa en su propio futuro ni en el de su descendencia... ¿Y qué? Si eso me recuerda el cuento del burro y el tigre.
¿Y qué? Si hasta aquí llegaron mis cinco minutos.

So what? If at my age I feel like starting over, if I don't understand fashion, if I prefer silence to applause... So what?
So what? If every time I get on the subway train, the electricity fails, and those in the informal economy make you desperate with their "three for a dollar" chant... So what?
So what? This morning, when I was already dressed in a suit and tie, the coffee spilled on my favorite white shirt, and that's why I was late for the meeting with the client. So what?
So what? If the government doesn't do its thing... and the guy continues with his "So what?"
So what? If I'm looking to meet the five minutes, but the "So what?!", abound, and the rest of the words are absent, as the love of her. So what?
So what? If I hear someone defend the indefensible just because they are behind a gift and do not think about their own future or that of their offspring... So what? If that reminds me of the tale of the donkey and the tiger.
