What should have been a peaceful morning turned into a tiring journey. The normally smooth highway was suddenly filled with vehicles from all directions. Large trucks, motorcycles, and even motorized rickshaws jostled for space to move even a few meters forward. The sun was starting to get hot, while horns honked incessantly.
I found myself stuck in the long line of vehicles. To my right, I could see a large truck moving very slowly, while on the left, motorcyclists were trying to find space to move forward. Everyone seemed eager to get to their destinations quickly. Some were going to work, delivering goods, going to the market, or perhaps even just going home.
This kind of traffic jam often makes emotions run high. But beneath the crowded atmosphere, I saw how life went on. Vendors continued to sell, drivers patiently waited for their turn to open the road, and people continued with their daily activities with enthusiasm.
Sometimes the journey of life is like a traffic jam. It's not always smooth and swift. There are times when we need to pause, wait for conditions to improve, and then slowly resume our journey. What matters isn't how quickly we arrive, but how we stay calm and keep moving forward.
Although hot and tiring, today's simple experience on the highway reminded me that patience is essential in everyday life.
