This week's ZAPFIC Monday challenge centers around the prompt "accept" and presented the opportunity to explore the concept of agreeing to something. The next step is the expectation after one agrees. Both parties should understand what is expected of them. I share a flash fiction story along those lines.

My story is below:
"If you accept this, go and become a man?" Chief Ranu proclaimed to his young warrior group.
Koda smiled. The net would be a tool to increase fish supply for the village.
The Chief frowned upon hearing Koda's plan.
"I'll not kill for glory."
