Many people do not care for their job and look forward to the day they can retire. And then there are some of us who loved our job and even started posting about it but because of medical reasons can no longer do the job. I was not looking to retire, I feel it was forced upon me.
But since I have not been fishing I have gotten used to working around the house, I like to spend the day outside but my back can only handle so much of it and I have to go sit down.
My husband says he looks forward to the day he can retire. I do not think this is true. We have had bad weather and the fish are still south of us so he has been home for two weeks and I think the man goes whacky doodles when he has nothing to do. He is the type who has to be doing something, I am that way too, but the difference is I can find plenty to do, but they are things he does not care to do. I told him he should find something he cares about and do it. He planted watermelons.
