This is my post for #freewriters 2708 prompt infect the others hosted by @mariannewest
Today I went to the expensive pizza place on the beach in Melbourne with my sisters. All I had was 10 dollars so I gave it to one of them and asked if she would pay the rest. They do not accept any type of card for payment. IDK what a slice of pizza costs, but a midium size drink was 3 dollars.
I have to admit, it was a very good pizza. One sister wanted us to get one kind so we could buy a whole pizza, she bragged on the cheese pizza all the way there, and I hoped her desire for it did not infect the others, which it did not. The three of us wanted the Greek pizza and it was so good, and it looked better than the plain cheese. T other one got her slice of cheese and she got a slice of vegetarian.
After that, we drove around looking for thrift stores, we found 3. I had the same sister who bought me lunch buy a pair of reading glasses for me, they were one dollar.
While we were having lunch, I noticed a dozen or more pigeons sitting on the roof of a building next door. By the time I got my phone out, all but one had flew off. I was amazed at the size of them, they are the healthiest pigeons I have ever seen. We were sitting in their outside area, and I told our waiter they are the biggest pigeons I have seen, and he said they are always coming in here and eating the crumbs, and even though we ask them not to, people still feed them. One sister did this when one came walking by our table. He said if you are not paying attention, they will try to steal your food.
This is the size pigeons that we have around the docks. They used to nest in the fish houses. A few years ago one had a nest on the dock under a stack of racks for growing clams in an upweller.
