This is my post for #freewriters 2899 prompt a lot of stuff hosted by @mariannewest

For as long as I can remember, I have loved teapots. Back then, and now, no one wanted them but me. I do not know how many I have. Every time I saw one at a yard sale or thrift store, I bought it, but never paid more than a dollar for any of them. Most were 25 cents. Today I went to a thrift store with my sister we were looking for a dog cone. Anyway, the teapots are now 5 to 25 dollars. The kids look at them as a lot of stuff, but after I am gone, if they will take the time to sell my teapots, they might get a surprise at how much they are worth. Then there are the tea cups, you can not have teapots without the cups.

I know I have a lot of stuff, it is not only teapots. There are four windows in my kitchen and they all have old kitchen things hanging from them. If I find an old bottle, it will come home with me. If it is unique, I will buy it at a yard sale or thrift store. I don't want to admit to how many boxes of record albums I have, vinyl for the new generation. My stereo has an eight-track and cassette player, I do not think my kids know what either of them are. I know my grandkids don't.
Stuffed in the spare room is the tote of state plates, and another tote of old glass things. Hanging in the closet, they will find the vintage beaded dresses and 1980s disco clothes. On the floor of the closet, there is a box of black and white pictures and reels of reel to reel home movies. I have no idea who any of the people are in the photos, but when I saw them at a thrift store, I knew they needed to go home with me. Who knows what could be on the films?
