Today has been a lazy day. I took my daughter to the store and stayed in the truck while she shopped. After getting home and getting her things carried inside, I gave Rudy's cage a good cleaning. I clean it with a small broom every day, but not a scrubbing with soap and water. I used hemp soap to clean it with.
I took his litter box and his piece of tree from one end and cleaned it, then I moved his house to that end. He did not like his house being in the same place as his litter box. He refused to go inside, that is, until I got my phone to take a picture of him. As soon as I got back with it, he ran inside his house.
My sister came by for just a visit, and we did not need to work on any fishing gear. She has been telling me that one of her tag lights does not work so she wanted to get home and work on it. I asked what was wrong and she said a wire must be broken. I told her, let's go look at it. We put a tarp on the ground and climbed under the truck. The bulb holder had popped out of what I will call the globe. She had one "globe" that was taped in place so she bought two to change both of them. After plugging the one back in, she tried to plug the other tag light into the new "globe" it would not fit. We wondered if she was sold the wrong mechanism, but she bought two and the other one fit.
We looked at both plugs, and they were different, there was no way the other one would fit. My sister pulled on it, and a piece came off, and now it fits. She has to leave early in the morning to pick up our niece from the middle of the state, then take her to North Florida to get her things, and then she will move in with my sisters. The plan is for her to get my sister's grandchildren on and off of the bus and watch them until she gets home from fishing.
