This is my post for #freewriters 2921 prompt no reduction for you hosted by @mariannewest
My sister, niece, and I went yard saling today. I bought some old medicine bottles for 2 dollars. It was a reduction in price, because the container they were in said antique medicine bottles, 25 dollars. I would have never paid that for them.
I also bought four wooden orchid pots for 50 cents each. This yard sale also had several bonsai pots that I would have liked to have, but they were three dollars each. When we got back in the truck, I told my sister about them and the price, and she said I should have asked them if they would take less. I hate asking that at yard sales. What do you do when they say no reduction for you? It just makes me uncomfortable. I have seen her ask for a lower price, but it is not for me. Maybe it is because I know the price of them when new. I looked on Amazon, and for the glass ones like at the sale, they are 2 for 32 dollars. I wish I had bought a couple of them, but I also knew my husband would throw a fit if I bought them for that price.

My husband fished today, it was the first day back since the cold weather set in. He said the river water temperature is 66. Pompano do not want to bite if it is under 65. He said there were several commercial fishermen's trucks at the ramp, but he did not see any in the river, they were all in the ocean where the water temperature is warmer. The tide was ebbing, and our boats are too small to go out the inlet on an ebb tide, and the tide did not change until 1 o'clock. It will be 2 o'clock tomorrow.
I had him get ice for me, even though he did not catch anything today, we will go tomorrow. You never know when more might come down the river, and the weather is getting warmer, so I hope the river water will also warm up.

I do not know how much longer my sister will be able to fish with me. We have fished for four days and have not gone again in 6 days, mostly because of the weather, but also my sister's hand is still bothering her from the four days we fished. She has carpal tunnel pretty bad in her right hand, and twice today she yelled out from just trying to pick something up. I feel for her because I have suffered from it for years, but I still fished until I lost the cartilage in my right hand.
