This is my post for #freewriters 2972 prompt reinforced hosted by @mariannewest
Last night my laptop would not come up, all it would do was give me an arrow with a spinning circle on a blank page. I was not able to do anything. This morning, I remembered the reset button, it took several tries before it worked. I do not know how much longer it will last, but for now, it seems to be back to normal. I hate that I was not able to post last night. I have been trying to make a post every day.

Yesterday was my youngest's birthday, she turned 45, it does not seem long ago that I was turning that age. I wanted to have a party for her, but wanted it to be a surprise. Let me tell you, being sneaky is hard to do.
She wanted me to take her to the store, but I wanted to buy her a present and cake without her knowing. My sister was taking me to the store and she wanted to go, we told her we had to go to the fishouse, which we did, then we had to get gas, and when we get home, my sister would take her shopping. This way, I could decorate and wrap gifts.
Our plan was when we got back to the house, we would put everything in my truck and my sister would take her shopping, then I could get it all into the house. We got home and she was in the yard, this drove little Astrid crazy, she knew it was a secret and kept asking me what we were going to do, because she was outside. My sister finally got her to go inside to get ready for her to take her to the store. We got everything into my truck. They left for the store, and now it was the mad dash to get everything inside, decorate, and wrap gifts before they got back.

Little Astrid wanted a piñata, and a bag of candy for it. She wanted to fill it. This child was so excited about surprising her Aunt Shell, I thought she was going to have an anxiety attack before they got home. She kept asking what our plan was going to be. There is a half wall by our front door, I told her we could hide behind it and jump out and yell SURPRISE when Shell walked inside. She liked that plan and it worked perfectly, we scared and surprised her.

I do not know what that little pinata was reinforced with, but everyone took several whacks at it, and it did not break. It did not help that Astrid wanted them to use an empty wrapping paper tube. I finally got a piece of PVC pipe and it still did not break. We took it down and I pitched it to them like a baseball and they hit it with the PVC. Three people tried and it did not break. Then little Astrid hit it, and candy went everywhere.
