Excuse my ignorance, but is malaria contagious? COVID is going around here, and it upsets me to see sick people out in public places. My sister has it and has been out and around others. Her daughter's family had it, and she said she was safe because she wore her mask around them and washed her hands. Now she has been sick for over a week.
