ENGLISH VERSION
Without a doubt, what matters is rising up—wherever we may be—and moving forward with our projects. I know the blow has been hard; it has been a succession of losses—painfully true—yet there is something there that nourishes us, that binds us to the very earth: that blend of community, history, and life that stirs us all.
"Rising up" begins as a premise, a command. But first, one must find closure for the pain, bidding it farewell and allowing for a natural grieving process. No one said it would be easy; that dagger of pain will always be there, piercing raw flesh and cutting into memories. A mother never forgets.
Rising up stems from the need to go on—one step at a time, a push to keep moving forward. We are still in the midst of the novenario and prayers. We are asking that they not be forgotten. We are witnessing supernatural manifestations that bring messages and moments of connection. We are watching life itself take its course.
Rising up becomes both necessary and vital.
