My gosh! Isn't it fascinating that hundreds and hundreds of years of residents and visitors have walked theses walkways and climbed these stairs? I find History incredibly fascinating, especially Eastern Europe. I have made a list of stops I'd like to make along the way, but it is my dream to do a backpacking through Europe thing, but totally in the opposite direction of where most people go. Love this story too. Of course, Anne Rice (Author of Interview With a Vampire et al) built her "vampire universe" based on this very legend! And I must say,l I do LOVE a good vampire tale!
