Hello, fellow travellers on Hive. I hope you’re all well and that God blesses you always. Today I’d like to tell you about my honeymoon. I got married recently and we went to celebrate at the Meliá Internacional Varadero hotel in the province of Matanzas. Our time there was nothing short of magical. We’ll always look back on it with great happiness.
Hola amigos viajeros de Hive. Espero que estén bien y que Dios los bendiga siempre. Hoy les quiero comentar de mi viaje de Luna de Miel. Hace poco me casé y nos fuimos a celebrar al hotel Meliá Internacional Varadero, de la provincia de Matanzas. Los días allí fueron más que mágicos. Los recordaremos siempre con mucha felicidad.
We travelled in a very comfortable, air-conditioned coach. We could even charge our mobiles; there were sockets fitted behind every seat. The coach guide was really funny and charismatic; he had us smiling a lot. The journey was very enjoyable; my husband and I spent the time reading the notes and messages of affection that our wedding guests had written to us on the day of the ceremony. It was impossible not to get emotional. We also opened some of the gifts that had been given to us with such love. What I liked best were some chocolates that were absolutely delicious.
Nos fuimos en un bus muy cómodo y climatizado. Incluso podíamos cargar nuestros móviles, atrás cada asiento estaba adaptado para ello. El guía del bus era muy divertido y carismático, nos sacó varias sonrisas. El recorrido fue muy ameno, mi esposo y yo fuimos leyendo las notas y mensajes de afecto que nos habían escrito nuestros invitados a la boda el día de la ceremonia. Fue inevitable no emocionarnos. También fuimos abriendo algunos regalos que nos habían hecho con mucho cariño. Lo que más me gustó fueron unos chocolates que estaban deliciosos.
Before reaching our destination, we stopped off at the Bacunayagua viewpoint. A beautiful spot. There, we were able to stretch our legs a little after a long journey; there were also toilets and a variety of food options, ranging from sandwiches to the most exquisite piña colada you could ever taste.
Antes de llegar a nuestro destino hicimos una parada en el mirador de Bacunayagua. Un lugar precioso. Allí pudimos estirar un poco los pies luego de un largo viaje, también había baños, ofertas gastronómicas variadas, desde sándwiches hasta la piña colada más exquisita que puedas probar.
There were also several souvenir shops, and the most incredible thing about the place was the view, with lush greenery blending into the blue of the sky. There were some binoculars we could use to see for miles. It was an incredible experience, but what we were about to experience upon arriving at the hotel was even more special.
Además habían varias tiendas de souvenirs y lo más increíble que tenía ese lugar era la vista con un verdor que inundaba la vista al mezclarse con el azul del cielo. Habían unos vinoculares que podíamos usar para mirar hasta largas distancias. Fue una experiencia increíble pero lo que estábamos por vivir al llegar al hotel fue aún más especial.
From the moment we arrived at the hotel, we were captivated by its grandeur and beauty. At the hotel entrance there is a lovely fountain, and you can see the flags of the various countries represented by the guests staying at the hotel. What I liked most were the dispensers of water flavoured with spearmint, which are available to guests throughout the day, as the bar staff make sure to top them up regularly.
Desde que arribamos al hotel nos cautivó lo imponente y hermoso que es. A la entrada del hotel hay una fuente preciosa y se ven las banderas de varios países de los huéspedes que están hospedados en el hotel. Lo que más me agradó fueron unos dispensadores de agua saborizada con menta hierbabuena, que están a disposición de los clientes durante todo el día, pues los trabajadores del bar se encargan de reponerla sistemáticamente.
On arrival at the hotel, we were given a very warm welcome; they explained the hotel’s facilities to us and we were looked after by the honeymoon coordinator. She took care of answering all our questions and designing an experience that would go on to be one of the best of our lives. I’ll be telling you more about our fantastic trip soon. Al llegar al hotel nos recibieron muy amablemente, nos explicaron los servicios del hotel y nos atendió la coordinadora de lunas de miel. Ella se encargó de aclarar todas nuestras dudas y de diseñar una experiencia que se convertiría en una de las mejores de nuestras vidas. Próximamente les seguiré contando de nuestro fantástico viaje.
